Accepted Forms of Payment
Chang
Express will accept cash,
certified checks, money orders,
and the following types of
credit cards: VISA,
MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS
and DISCOVER as valid forms
of payment for payment of
tours booked through Chang
Express. Chang Express sometimes
accepts agency checks but
reserves the right to modify
this policy based on booking
agency status and prior credit
approval.
B. Payment
Policies
Bookings
made 45 days or more prior to
departure require a deposit
as determined by the system,
4 days after the booking is
made or 45 days prior to departure
(which ever comes first). Bookings
made using published airfares
require immediate deposit. The
deposit amount will be determined
by the hotel and airfare selected.
If deposit is not Received by
Deposit Due Date, booking will
be cancelled. All Payments must
be received by Chang Express
in order for Documents TO BE
RELEASED.
PAYMENT
PROCEDURES
A.
CREDIT CARDS
Chang
Express accepts VISA, MASTERCARD,
AMERICAN EXPRESS and DISCOVER.
Payments can be made in one
of Chang Express offices or
by a signed copy ofCREDIT
CARD AUTHORIZATION FORM,
which can be downloaded via
our website at http://www.changexpress.com,
executed by the cardholder,
and faxed to (617) 776-7797.
B.
CHECKS
Chang
Express accepts only Certified
Checks, Cashiers Checks
or Money Orders only. Checks
must be made payable to Chang
Express and forwarded to the
following address: CHANG EXPRESS,
192 Broadway, Somerville, MA
02145. Payments must be received
by Chang Express by DUE DATE
to avoid booking cancellation.
Please be sure to write your
tour reference number on the
check to ensure that the payment
will be applied to the correct
booking.
LATE
BOOKING FEES
Bookings
made less than 21 days prior
to departure will be subject
to additional fee of $15.00.
CANCELLATIONS
AND REVISIONS
Cancellation
Charges
All
refunds are subject to a $100.00
cancellation charge per adult,
in addition to any cancellation
changes imposed hotels chosen
in your itinerary. Airline tickets
are non-refundable unless otherwise
stated.
Revisions/Modifications
1.
Once airline tickets are issued,
changes are not permitted.
2. There will be no charge for
an initial modification/revision
if documents have not been issued.
3. Each additional modification/revision
will be assessed a fee of $25.00
per booking.
4. If documents need to be reissued
a Document Re-Issue fee of $25
will be charged over and above
the afore-mentioned revision
fees plus any additional fees
imposed by the hotel and/or
airlines as selected in your
itinerary.

traveling your clients may incur
additional expenses that are
not included in the package
price, including, but not limited
to the following items A-D below:
A.
Tipping and Porterage:
Our package price does
not include porterage at airport
and hotels; tips to local representatives,
sightseeing guides, restaurant
employees, hotel bellmen and
chambermaids; wines, liquors,
laundry or any other items of
a personal nature as well as
any items not specifically mentioned
within itinerary. Tipping is
left to your clients discretion.
B.
Car, Moped or Scooter Rental:
Car rental rates for
packages that include a car
do not include gasoline, taxes,
optional insurance, CDW, underage
and additional driver charges
or airport charges. These charges
are payable to the car rental
company directly.
C.
Local Taxes and Service Charges:
Local room tax, energy
surcharges and service charges
on room and meals are not included
unless specified. Taxes and
service charges are based on
the hotels daily room
tariff and not on the land package
price. Local governments may
impose additional taxes including,
but not limited to, departure
taxes which may not be included
in the package price.
D.
Flight Delays: Airlines
are not required by law to pay
for en route expenses, meals,
hotels, taxis, and phone calls
if your clients flight is delayed
for any reason.

Additional fees imposed by suppliers
beyond our control may also
be imposed. If Chang Express
cancels a tour, an alternate
tour will be suggested. If that
tour is unacceptable, Chang
Express will refund all money
paid to Chang Express by your
travel agent; there is no additional
liability. Chang Express cannot
assume responsibility for any
fees relating to the issuance
and/or ancellation of air tickets.
CANCELLATIONS
FEES
AIR:
Airline tickets are non-refundable
unless otherwise stated. $25.00
fee will apply in addition to
Airlines ASC charges (usually
$150.00) that requires ticket
reissuance. $50.00 fee will
be charged in addition to Airlines
ASC charges to process refund
on a refundable ticket.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS AFTER
DEPARTURE
There
will be no refunds returned
for unused portions of a tour
unless these arrangements have
been made with your travel agent
and Chang Express before departure
of the tour. If you must return
home after the commencement
of a tour, you will be refunded
the net funds Chang Express
can recover from the suppliers
of the services not used. Refunds
will not be made for less than
3 days and 2 nights of consecutive
absence from the tour. Refunds
will not be made for unused
sightseeing tours, transfers,
or meals. Applications for refund
must be made in writing to Chang
Express within 60 days of tour
termination. We strongly recommend
Travel Protection Insurance.
PARTICIPATING
CARRIERS
These
tours are sold in conjunction
with the services of all approved
ARC and IATA member carriers.
Government regulations now enable
air carriers to increase their
fares on 24-hour notice.
FLIGHT
CONFIRMATION
We
recommend that clients reconfirm
exact flight times with the
carrier prior to departure.
Air travelers are required to
check in at least 2 hours prior
to departure time and must report
to the gate at least 20 minutes
prior to departure time. Failure
to comply with this regulation
may result in the loss of the
seat to another passenger.
PROOF
OF CITIZENSHIP
Chang
Express recommends a valid passport;
however, some destinations will
accept a birth certificate or
certificate of naturalization
for U.S. citizens when presented
with a photo I.D. However, some
destinations now accept passports
only. U.S. CITIZENS MAY CONTACT

FOR INFORMATION. Married or
divorced women traveling under
names other than what appears
on their travel documents must
supply a marriage license and/or
divorce decree. Single parents
traveling with children, or
children traveling alone will
require special documentation.
MINORS
UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE TRAVELING
TO MEXICO MUST TRAVEL WITH THE
CONSENT OF BOTH PARENTS
If
a minor is traveling to Mexico
with only one parent, the parent
must present a notarized letter
of consent from the absent parent
or a copy of the legal document
giving that parent sole custody.
If the absent parent is deceased,
a copy of the death certificate
is necessary. If a minor is
traveling to Mexico without
legal parents, a notarized letter
of consent must be submitted
and signed by the legal parents.
It is the travelers responsibility
to provide proper documentation.
NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE IF IMPROPER
DOCUMENTATION
RESULTS IN DENIED BOARDING OR
ENTRY
If
the client is not a U.S. citizen,
Chang Express recommends that
they check with the consulate
of the country they are traveling
to for full entry requirements
(Visas may be required in addition
to passports). All passengers
are now required to carry some
form of official photo identification.
Requirements may change so we
recommend that any immigration
requirements be verified with
the tourist office or consulate
before the client travels

HAZARDOUS
CONDITIONS
Chang
Express has no special knowledge
of and shall not be liable for,
hazardous conditions at international
destinations, including, but
not limited to, weather hazards,
health hazards, unsafe conditions,
suppliers bankruptcies or the
suitability for disabled persons
of any portion of the tour.

TRAVEL
PROTECTION PLAN
We
strongly recommend our Travel
Protection Plan to safeguard
travelers against cancellation
charges and additional expenses
they may incur before and after
the departure of their trip.
The following is the summary
of the Travel Protection Plan

LABOR DISPUTES, MACHINERY BREAKDOWN,
QUARANTINE, GOVERNMENT RESTRAINTS,
WEATHER OR OTHER CAUSE BEYOND
THEIR PERSONAL CONTROL. NO RESPONSIBILITY
IS ACCEPTED FOR ANY ADDITIONAL
EXPENSE, OMISSIONS, DELAYS,
RE-ROUTING OR ACTS OF ANY GOVERNMENT
OR AUTHORITY. THE AIRLINES CONCERNED
ARE NOT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE
FOR ANY ACT, OMISSION, OR EVENT,
DURING THE TIME PASSENGERS ARE
